PierForge is an AI-native operations layer for CN–HK–ASEAN cross-border supply chains — the second vertical built on the CompanyForge engine. Compliance, classification, tariff, and documentation for operators who cannot afford an 8-person compliance team per trade lane.
Cross-border ERPs (领星, 店小秘, 马帮) handle listings, orders, and inventory. PierForge operates above them: it handles the regulated, document-heavy, AI-automation-addressable tasks that ERPs do not — HS classification, tariff optimisation, customs documentation, and compliance intelligence.
The CompanyForge engine underneath provides what makes it trustable with regulated cross-border tasks: an approval-band system (Band D actions physically require human sign-off), per-operator persistent memory, and a 7-year tamper-evident audit ledger that a customs auditor or CFO can both read.
Payment, customs filing, and regulatory submission require a logged human signature. The system physically cannot execute Band D actions without one. This is not a preference — it is an architectural constraint.
Every classification returns a confidence score. Items below 0.75 are flagged for broker review rather than silently passed. Confirmed-from-rules vs. AI-assumption vs. missing data are labelled separately.

Every classification, calculation, and document generation is logged to a 7-year tamper-evident ledger: model version, timestamp, inputs, output, operator ID, and any human approval.
